Increase your brewing knowledge, build relationships and have fun brewing professionally for a day at an Arizona craft brewery. Sign-up by January 28th, 2023 to join the 3rd annual ASH Pro/Am industry collaboration competition with Arizona’s craft brewers.
The Pro/Am is an opportunity for two ASH homebrewers to be paired with an Arizona craft brewer and brew a beer together that will later be on-tap at the brewery. You will have the chance to collaborate on a recipe that fits one of the predetermined styles (IPA or lager). Each brew team will be responsible for scheduling an invaluable day to assist in brewing the beer. Each brewer will get to take home 5 gallons of wort to ferment at home, package and then submit the beer to compete against your fellow ASH homebrewers.
There will be a $30 fee for ASH homebrewers to cover the costs of the event (judging/awards, ceremony food and drinks) but a small price in comparison to the experience of brewing with a pro brewer and 5 gallons of wort. When was the last time it cost $30 for 5 gallons of commercially made wort? Sign-up now and fees will be collected at a later date.
Important Dates
- January 28 — Sign-up closes
- February 1 thru May 1 — Brew day at the brewery
- May 16 — Pro/Am entries due – Each pro and homebrewer will submit two bottles/cans for judging
- May 20 — BJCP judging for both pro and homebrewer categories
- May 23 — Award ceremony at the ASH Clubhouse
