We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We do not provide any personally identifiable information we gather or develop about our visitors or members to any third parties for any purpose. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via forms, surveys, email or other direct contact from you. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address) and demographic information (such as zip code, age level). We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
Visitor IP addresses and accessed files are used to identify server problems and to provide site usage statistics. This information is used to provide future content suitable to our audience and to generate statistical reports. Individual site usage information will not be disclosed. Cookies may and will be used to maintain a user’s identity between web sessions.
Any web data and/or personal information collected is for internal use only by ASH board members and/or IT committee members. Aggregated demographic information may be shared with our partners for club promotional purposes only. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.
Registered site visitors, newsletter recipients and ASH members will receive occasional correspondence via email from the Arizona Society of Homebrewers. If you do not want to receive communications, you can request to have your registration deleted or unsubscribed through the email service at the bottom of any ASH communication.

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.
Wherever we collect sensitive information, that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only ASH board members and board-designated committee members who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, shipping) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Mobile App
The ASH mobile app is a free, social network, mobile application that is used by our members to find out about our events, and make connections between our members. You must be a current ASH member to use this application. You acknowledge by accepting this policy that your first and last name will be visible to other active ASH members, for the sole purpose of finding / following you. You can optionally upload an avatar image, that other will see when they try to find you. You are notified with in-app notification every time someone in the club follows you. Whenever you check into an ASH event, your ASH friends (that are already in attendance, having checked in themselves) will be notified. Nobody outside the event will be notified. This app is currently only available for iOS users. A new version is currently in development, and will support both iOS and Android users.
