ASH Springfest – All You Need to Know!
Spring is officially about to start (although many of us might argue that summer has arrived in the Valley) and to celebrate, join us at the 2017 ASH Springfest on Saturday, April 8 at Tempe’s Kiwanis Park.
Attendance Guidelines
Springfest is a family friendly event for all paid ASH members to enjoy. Paid members can bring a spouse or significant other but anyone drinking alcohol at the event must be an ASH member. Designated drivers don’t need a membership. The kids are welcome too. The park has a basketball and volleyball courts. Plus feel free to bring any of your favorite toys or games.
There’s still time to Purchase a Membership!
If you still need one, memberships can be purchased HERE. Anyone who buys cards through April 3 will be able to pick up your card at the front gate.
No membership IDs will be printed at the event.
Homebrews, BYO Cup and the NO GLASS Rule!
Please bring your homebrew to share with everyone. But remember, no glass is allowed at Kiwanis Park. Bring your brew in kegs or plastic bottles. We’ll have a stock of plastic cups, but let’s save the environment a little. Bring your own mug or favorite festival tasting cup — just remember, anything but glass.
FOOD!!!
The Club will provide a variety of meat options from SmokeN’Grind. Please bring side dishes or desserts to share.
The ASH Spring Classic Homebrew Competition & Ceremony
Who will win the “Brewer’s Choice” and have an opportunity to brew at McFate Brewing Company?! The awards ceremony will take place at ASH’s Springfest around 2-3 p.m.
We Need Your Help!
Thank you all who have volunteered to help make this event happen. If you would like to volunteer for Springfest, please contact Jackie and include your preferred shift. Available shifts include:
- Set Up (11 a.m. – noon)
- Gate/Front Entrance (12-2 p.m. OR 2-4 p.m.)
- Raffle (12-2 p.m. OR 2-4 p.m.)
- Floater (12-2 p.m.)
- Tear Down (5 p.m. – done)
- Delivery of Items to Clubhouse (PM)
Raffle
We will give away some great prizes, so bring cash or credit card to purchase raffle tickets.

We are in the Ruben Romero Corporate Ramada at Tempe Kiwanis Park.
