ASH General Meeting

Venue

ASH Clubhouse

1301 W 21st Street, Tempe, AZ 85281

NOTE: This meeting has been postponed to Tuesday, June 28, due to plumbing issues at the Clubhouse.

Meeting starts at 7:00. This meeting’s presentation will be about Fermentation Temperature Control – the why and how.

Hops Handout ASH has received a significant quantity of hops and, as members, you are the real beneficiaries. All members in attendance at the June General Meeting will be entitled to take home 8oz of hops; mixing and matching from Citra, El Dorado, Comet, and Gem.

Anyone bringing a guest to this meeting will be entitled to double their hop take – up to a pound! Subsequent guests brought entitle the bringer to an additional 4oz per additional guest, while supplies last. If a guest joins the night of the meeting, they may also get a choice of 8oz of the hops. Any guest who joins that night gets priority before bringers get to choose their bonus hops. A guest is defined as someone who is eligible for membership and has not been a member within the preceding 12 months.

Hops package sizes vary, and quantities are limited, so picking an assortment which adds to exactly 8oz may not be possible in every case. Arrive early for the best choice and availability.

Kolsch Mini-Comp Entry drop-offs are due before 6:00. Judging will be done prior to and during the meeting and results and awards will be announced at the end of the meeting.
Please bring 2 bottles for judging, and 2 for member sampling. Entry labels can be printed from here.

Location: ASH Clubhouse (1301 W. 21st St. Tempe) and on Zoom. (Check membership communications channels for the Zoom address.)

    1. Welcome to the community, MrAverageGuy. Good question – those “member only” channels would include the emailed, monthly, Hot Break newsletter, and the “ASH Flash” text notifications. Details on how to sign up for the ASH Flash are in the Hot Break, too. The February Hot Break was sent out last night. You may need to check your “spam” folder if you didn’t see it.
