ASH is Homebrew Club of the Year!

This is ASH’s second time (or third if you count the year of the pandemic!) winning the coveted AHA homebrew of the year award!  This club has some of the best homebrewers in the nation and there is a good reason for it!  We have attracted some of the best of the best homebrewers and they in turn have provided some of the best knowledge and education around! To keep up with this momentum we have to keep up with the tides of change and continue to pass on our knowledge to future brewers as well as keep the hobby thriving.  This could mean entering more competitions than you have in the past, or possibly entering one for the first time.  Perhaps this could mean exploring other forms of fermentation besides beer, we did indeed have two NHC mead medal winners.  Where are our cider makers at?  I believe this club has an opportunity to get “funky” sort of speak and explore the complex world of fermentation.  We can be trend setters by making kimchi, kefir, sauerkraut, and more.  I’m sure we have member amongst us that has this knowledge that could be shared.  Then we can use the bright shining spotlight that we currently have upon us and show everyone that we are masters of fermentation.
