2018 Best Strong Beer Entry Rules and Entry Form
Entry: Any brewery pouring at the festival may enter up to two beers into the competition. See below for a list of entry categories for this competition. To enter, complete the form below and submit entry fee via Paypal by clicking the PayPal button AFTER you submit the entry form.
Fee: $20 per entry. This modest fee will cover the basic costs of running the competition and any excess will support ASH. Submit entry fee via Paypal by clicking the PayPal button below
***Entry Deadline: All entries must be submitted and paid for by midnight on Wendesday, Feb. 8th. ***NO LATE REGISTRATION OR SAME-DAY ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.***
Judging: Judging will occur live during the Brewers Reception on Friday night by BJCP judges using a GABF-style blind judging format with multiple rounds.
Bottles: Breweries must have beers labeled and delivered to festival cold storage by 4:30 p.m. the afternoon of the Brewers Reception. The competition director reserves the right to disqualify entries that are not ready at the time of judging. Entries may be submitted in cans, bottles or growlers, as long as the beer is served at the festival. 24 ounces are needed per entry.

Award Categories: As this competition grows, we are adding in award categories for similar beers to compete with each other. Based on actual submissions to the competition, the competition director reserves the right to combine or add categories.
