After brewing his first batch on a friends system in 2010 he was hooked and shortly after that he was brewing on his own gear. Along with brewing beer he enjoys making homemade sodas with his children. Other than brewing beer, Andy prides himself in making some of the best BBQ in town, you may even get to try some at one of our member only festivals!

Matt Brown Competitions
Matt first started brewing with his brother in Seattle in 2003. As soon as he started the hobby again after moving to Arizona, he upgraded to the ten-gallon cooler and turkey-fryer all-grain system he uses today. Matt is regular entrant in homebrew competitions, a BJCP certified judge, and has been chair of ASH's competition committee since the beginning of 2013. When not brewing, he has been known to practice law.

~Plans & executes all member only competitions
~Promotes external AHA competitions
~Develops competition education programs
Keith Mycek Barrels
Keith started his love of craft beer back in college, but had no idea you could make your own until 1995, when he started doing it regularly (and quite obsessively). He has been a member of the club since 2008, and a BJCP Certified judge since 2010. When he is not brewing, he can be found building/remodeling houses or playing drums.
Director of Barrels Responsibilities:Â
~Acquire, clean and care for our barrels
~Plan projects, rally troops, and blend/fill barrels
