DESCRIPTION:\n Please join us for this auspicious occasion at  Uncle Bears in Gilbert\,   612 East Germann Road\, Gilbert\, AZ 85297 .  We would like to celebrate the award of National Homebrewer's Club of the Year. A great accomplishment from our fellow club members and their final round awards at the National Homebrewer's Competition in Rhode Island.  Thank you for brewing such great beer and bringing home national accolades for our club!\n \n \n \n Mark Peterson – One Gold for his Witbier- Witty Dutchman\, and a Silver medal for his Scottish HeavyWarren Earle – One Silver for his Traditional MeadDennis Mitchell – One Bronze for his Finnegan’s Irish Red AleDaniele Shanke – One Silver  for  her Pinot Noir Pyment Fruit Mead\n \n \n \n and Notable: Carvin Wilson with a Bronze for his Traditional Mead and a group collab Gold with a Spice &amp\; Specialty Mead.\n \n \n \n In celebration\, we will be providing beef brisket and pork shoulder smoked by fellow club member Jeff Hagner.\n \n \n \n The Educational content for this meeting will be provided by another great brewer\, Derek (Doc) Osborne. He will elaborate on his great knowledge of yeast.\n \n \n \n  HBOY Mini Comp #2  entries for our second HBOY Mini Comp are due at the general meeting. The comp is for light American beer styles – BJCP 2015 Styles 1A\, 1B\, 1C and 18A – and open to club members only. If you are unable to come to the general meeting\, please contact jeff.rea@azhomebrewers.org&nbsp\;before the meeting to arrange to get your entries to him.\n
